Vows Exchanged

The marriage of Ashley Nicole Owen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Owen, of Rice, to Adam Blair Luna, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hostetter Jr., of Meherrin, took place on Saturday, May 19, at Pisgah Baptist Church in Rice.

The Rev. Earl Wallace, of Pisgah Baptist Church, officiated.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Betty Eagle and Clarence Coleman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernice Owen. The groom is the grandson of Betty Hostetter and the late Jerry Hostetter Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George R. Luna.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Ms. Victoria Meacom was maid of honor. Mrs. Rose Meacom was mistress of ceremonies. Bridesmaids were Ellen Allen, Mary Beth Atkins, Brooke Hostetter, Shay Hostetter, and April Sudesberry. Flower girl was Malia Charles, daughter of the bride. Other attendants were Danette Luna, scripture reader, Kaitlyn Luna, program attendant, Emily Luna, guest book at-tendant, Avery Luna and Charles Garnett, ushers.

Jerry Hostetter Jr., father of the groom, served as best man. Charles Allen, Dusty Ellington, Nathaniel Garnett, Philip Gar-nett, and Ronald Reams were groomsmen.

A reception followed at The Farmville Fireman's Sports Arena.

Following a honeymoon to Nags Head, the couple resides in Rice.

The bride is a student at Longwood University and the groom is employed with Shentel.
