The Ridge Animal Hospital is holding their second annual Santa Claws and Paws Donation Drive for the Southside SPCA Dec. 1-31 at Ridge Animal Hospital, 1913 E. Third Street, Farmville.

Donors are encouraged to visit the hospital where they can select an ornament from the Donation Tree with a specific pet and donation items attached. Once the donation is received, the donors and/or their pets will have their picture taken for posting on the hospital website.

All donations received, including monetary contributions, directly benefit the Southside SPCA.

In conjunction with the donation drive, Ridge Animal Hospital will also be featuring Adoption Awareness Month to draw attention to the very adoptable faces in need of homes this holiday season at the Southside SPCA. SPCA hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon. Questions can be directed to the hospital receptionists in person or by phone: 392-8222.
