This month’s Old Time Dance at the Pamplin Depot on Main Street Saturday, Oct. 4, 6:30-8:30 p.m., will feature a free potluck dinner. Beverages and dessert items will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the Pamplin Depot Restoration Fund.

Farm Use String Band will entertain with their own special brand of Old Time Music; the doors will open at 6 p.m. for the potluck.

Next month for the November dance Farm Use will hold the “Coats for Our Kids” drive. New or gently used children’s coats will be distributed to those in need in the community. A survey will also be taken to get opinions on the potluck and on other ways to make monthly get-togethers serve the community even better.
