'Lee's Lost Generals' At Sailor's Creek

On Thursday, April 6, 1865, disaster struck the retreating Army of Northern Virginia along the roads that ran through the Sailor’s Creek watershed. Among the 7,700 men captured during the battles of Sailor’s Creek were eight of Lee’s generals. Who were these men?
Come to Sailor’s Creek Sunday, August 3, 2 p.m. for ice cream and a discussion about “Lee’s Lost Generals.” The lives, details of the capture and internment of these men and what happened to them after the war?
The program is free to the public. All You Can Eat Ice Cream Sundaes will be offered for a $2 one-time fee per person, per program. All proceeds raised from the ice cream sundaes sales will be donated to the Friends Group to help fund future Educational Programs.
