The First Friday events will continue on Aug. 1 with the band Gypsy Road. The local group has performed in this area and throughout the state. The band’s sound, classified as rock, includes both covers and original songs. Food vendor for the evening will be the Darlington Heights Volunteer Fire Department. This family friendly event is free and stats at 5:30 p.m. at Riverside Park in Farmville. Remaining dates for the season are Sept. 5 and Oct. 5.
