Joel To Give Benefit For Pregnancy Center

Phil Joel, former base player for The Newsboys will be speaking, ministering and performing on Saturday, May 31, at 7 p.m. at New Life Church.
Joel’s talk and music is a 30th anniversary fundraiser event for the Pregnancy Support Center of Southside Virginia.
For over 18 years, New Zealander Phil Joel has been a mainstay in Contemporary Christian music with his upfront role as bass player and vocalist for the Newsboys, along with the music of his six solo CDs.
January ‘07 marked a new chapter for Phil after announcing he would be stepping out of the band after 13 years to focus on his growing desire for more hands on ministry.
Over the last five years, he’s had the opportunity to perform, speak and lead worship with ministries such as Focus on the Family, Winter Jam, Acquire The Fire, Harvest Crusades, Men At The Cross and many churches throughout the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia
