Ms. Catherine Criste, of Drakes Branch, and Terry Hathaway, of Charlotte Court House, are happy to announce the engagement of their son, Ryan Hathaway, to Cara Mulqueen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mulqueen, of Malvern, PA.

Miss Mulqueen is a 2011 graduate of James Madison University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications Sciences and Disorders. She is currently attending Longwood University seeking a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology with plans to graduate in May 2014.

Mr. Hathaway is a 2007 graduate of Randolph Henry High School. He attended Norfolk State University on a full football scholarship and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Technology. He resides in Harrisburg, PA, and is employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad as a supervisor for the Communications and Signals Department.

A May 31, 2014, wedding has been planned in Conshohocken, PA, near the bride’s hometown.
