JROTC Cadets Compete In 10K

On September 14, the Buckingham County High School JROTC Cadets competed in the 30th annual Special Olympics 10KM (6.2 miles) in Charlottesville. For the Cadets this would be their first run for the Special Olympics program. The 10KM race consisted of over 550 runners that came together for the cause. The top three finishers were Zach Poole, with a time 44 minutes, 58 seconds, William Reaser, with a time of 48 minutes, 5 seconds and Dillon Jamerson, with a time of 55 minutes, 9 seconds. JROTC Cadets raised more than $450 to support Special Olympics.
