Ms. Lucia Davis, a 2013 honor graduate of Prince Edward County High School, is one of the recipients of the Hall-Harris Scholarship that is given by the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

During her high school career, she was a member of the girl’s basketball, track and field, and varsity volleyball team. She also participated in Project Discovery, was the secretary of the National Honor Society, served as senior class president, and served as an executive interim at the Moton Museum.

Ms. Davis is a member of the Spirit of Life Church of God in Christ where she is a choir member, Vacation Bible School assistant, and secretary for the Sunday School. She is the daughter of Donald and Maida Davis. She plans to attend Norfolk State University or Lynchburg College and major in social work.

Ms. Destiny Redman, an honor graduate of Powhatan High School, also received one of the Sorority’s scholarships. She is the daughter of Ms. Yvonne Vaughan and Bruce Redman.
