Robert Knox Moncure III and Margaret Sue Moncure, of Cumberland, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Mary Moncure, to Jeremy Wayne Wooten. Jeremy is the oldest son of Tony Van Wooten and Tina Long Wooten, of Dillwyn.

Megan is a 2008 graduate of Buckingham County High School and a 2011 graduate of Sweet Briar College graduating with a BA in Biology/Pre-Veterinary Medicine.

Jeremy is a 2005 graduate of Buckingham County High School and a 2006 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. Maternal grandparents are Jerry and Nancy Long, of Appomattox. Paternal grandparents are Sue Senger Wooten, of Dillwyn, and the late Melvin Wooten.

The couple is to wed in September.
