Annual Bluegrass Festival Set For Holiday Lake

The 4th Annual Holiday Lake Bluegrass Festival held on June 1st has something for everyone with a full day of family fun featuring four bluegrass bands.

The Bluegrass Festival started four years ago and has grown each year. This year more activities for children including a Petting Zoo, Sno Cones, a Magic Show, Face Painting, Leather Crafts and a Corn Hole Tournament. Also, the swimming pool will be open from noon- 4 p.m. There will be art and craft vendors, food vendors and adult beverages will be available for those 21 and over.

This year's bands include James River Cut Ups from Nelson County, Half Bad Bluegrass from West Virginia, Shakygrass from Appomattox, and Clearwater Branch Band from Madison Heights. Each band will play two sets starting at noon and ending at 8pm.
