High Bridge Trail State Park invites the community to an evening at High Bridge on April 27 at 8 p.m. for a special Night Owl Walk. Park Education Specialist Bob Flippen will lead the walk and share facts about owls…like did you know a baby owl is called an owlet or that when owls congregate in groups it is known as a parliament? Walkers may even see or hear owls.

Meet at the River Road parking lot. A parking fee does apply here but the event is free. Be prepared to stay out after dark and bring a flashlight and drinking water. Total walk length is three miles. For more information contact the park office at 434-315-0457 or emailhighbridgetrail@dcr.virginia.gov.
