Community Prayer Breakfast Held

Attending the first Moton Museum Community Prayer Breakfast on Dec. 5 were John Barber, Hampden-Sydney Minority Student Union (MSU) vice president; Pastor Vincent Eanes Sr., Lone Oak Baptist Church; Hon. Machelle J. Eppes, Prince Edward County Circuit Court Clerk; Dr. Chris Howard, Hampden-Sydney College president; Ms. Patrice Lewis, Office of U.S. Senator Mark Warner; Pastor Lou Liotta, New Life Assembly of God; Imam Bin Mohammed, Islamic Center of Prince Edward County; Dr. Saranna Thornton, representing Prince Edward County's Jewish community; and Chief Ranger Sam Wilson Jr., Sailor's Creek Battlefield State Park. The next Community Prayer Breakfast will be Tuesday, Feb. 5, 7:30-8:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend this free community event held every first Tuesday. For more info, call 434-390-2380.
