Houston and Doris Hatcher, of Farmville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday, Nov. 26. They were married on November 26, 1952, in Appomattox by the Rev. W. Twyman Williams. The couple have a son, Garland (Maureen) Hatcher, of Chesapeake,; a daughter Teresa Hatcher (Jimmy) Adams, of Farmville; two grandsons, Jason Hatcher, of Chesapeake, and Stephen (Shilah) Hatcher, of Winterville, NC; four great-grandchildren, Tyler and Reaghan Hatcher, of Cheasapeake, and Kirkland and Emerson Hatcher, of Winterville, NC.
