Find conservation partners on Saturday, Oct. 6 at the 5 County Fairgrounds in Farmville. This Farming Partnership event is being held in conjunction with Progressive Agriculture's Farm Safety Day for kids.
Drop kids off at Farm Safety Day and walk next door to hear a Coyote Management Presentation, experience the Soil Erosion Simulator, see fencing and other equipment demonstrations and get the latest news on conservation programs. Activities begin at 8:30 am.
Lunch is free, but make a reservation by calling Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District at 434-392-3782 ext. 131 by Oct. 2.
