Cynthia Wood, a native of Prince Edward County, will be guest speaker at the July meeting of the Friends of the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library on Monday, July 9, at 7 p.m. Ms. Wood is a nature photographer and amateur naturalist. The title of her presentation is: “Virginia Wildflowers: Exploring Moth-er Nature's Garden,” and will feature wildflowers found in local state parks and along the High Bridge Trail. Everyone is invited and the program is free and open to the public.
