Mr. and Mrs. Curtis L. Owen, of Rice, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Owen, to Adam Blair Luna, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry W. Hostetter Jr., of Meherrin.

Ashley is the granddaughter of the late Clarence Whitfield Coleman and the late Betty Coleman Eagle and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernice Owen.

Adam is the grandson of Ms. Betty B. Hostetter and the late Jerry W. Hostetter Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. George R. Luna.

Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Prince Edward County High School and is currently enrolled at Longwood University, pursuing a degree in Social Work.

Adam is a 2001 home school graduate and is currently employed with Shentel.

A May 2012 wedding is planned.
