Ten Couples Selected For “2011 Kickin' Country Dream Wedding Giveaway” Valued at $10,000!

On Line Voting Period Opens for Chance to Win a $10,000 Dream Wedding

It's a tremendous opportunity for any bride and groom to win the wedding of their dreams. Now ten lucky couples are one step closer to winning the “2011 Kickin' Country Dream Wedding Giveaway” but to win they'll need your help! The wedding package, valued at approximately $10,000 is being donated by nine local businesses from Southside Virginia that are dedicated to making the wedding day perfect.

The ten qualifying couples are Casey Durrett & Joshua Bailey, Ashton Gaulding & Joseph Bozo, Amy Swayne & Will Bryant, Sertear Green & Thomas Copeland, Amber Warren & Joshua Davis, Jennifer Spencer & Jonathan Garrett, Amey Landreth & Everett Jones, Tiffany Phelps & Joseph Nichols, Jaimie Stein & Andrew Parisi and Kayla Blackstock & Brian Barton.

The ten couples were selected by the Dream Wedding Committee from all the entries received. The committee based their selections on criteria such as contents of submitted materials and those who have been deemed to have best followed rules, terms and conditions.

“We are delighted for these couples and look forward to sharing their stories” said Larry Armes, Operations Manager at WVHL “Kickin' Country. “But it is all the more special for us to be teaming up with a talented group of partners to make a dream wedding a reality for one of these special couples.

Participating sponsors in the 2011 Kickin' Country Dream Wedding Giveaway include Quality Rental & Catering, Caryn's Bridals, Formals, and Tuxedos, Gregory Jewelry, Design and Photo Man, Farmville Printing, The Cake Kitchen, Great Escape Spalon, Carolyn Baldwin Lake Pavilion and Rochette's Florist.

Friends, family and the public will have a chance to get involved. Beginning Monday January 31st the public will have the chance to vote for their favorite couple on the contest website (www.wvhl.net). Each couple's picture and story will be listed. There will be three rounds of voting with the first round determining the Five Semi-Finalist couples who will move on to the next round. They will be announced on WVHL 92.9 “Kickin' Country” during their special Valentine's Day Request Show, Feb. 14th.

Voting is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Individuals may vote only one time and for only one couple contestant. In case of a tie, the selection committee will cast votes to break the tie and select the Semi-Finalist Couples.
