For over 15 years, Blackstone: The Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center has celebrated the onset of the Christmas season with Evening at Blackstone. This year is no exception to the tradition as the garland is hung; over 11 trees decorated; a holiday feast planned; followed by an evening concert by award winning Mercy's Well who will perform both traditional and contemporary Christmas songs.

This years Evening at Blackstone will be on Sunday, December 5th. The open house starts at 4:30 pm with beautiful decorations and wonderful hors'deouvres. The banquet starts at 6:00 pm with the concert at 7:00 pm.

Originally organized in 1998 as a duet, Mercy's Well, under the leadership of group founder, Brad Strider, soon made the natural transition to a trio. Throughout the past two years, the group, which is based in Greensboro, NC, has continued to produce charting singles and has gained national attention from fans, music critics, pastors and promoters alike.
