Something exciting is going to happen in 2019, but you better hurry because time is running out. The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization is sponsoring a three day, two night trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 2,-4. The trip includes round trip motorcoach transportation, two nights lodging, two deluxe continental breakfasts, two dinners, a two-hour farmland tour, time for shopping and the show “Jesus,” at Sight and Sound Theater. Cumberland County Landfill Awareness Committee welcomes all citizens of Cumberland County and surrounding counties to a community meeting concerning the proposed landfill to learn more and receive information about the stand against this issue. Our sympathy is extended to the Flint Family of Cumberland. Charlie Edwin Flint went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 12. He will be greatly missed by all.

The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors monthly meeting is held every second Tuesday unless otherwise announced at 7 p.m. in the Cumberland County Courtroom.
