Association meeting is June 3

Happy birthday wishes go out this week to the following: Della Ford, of Cumberland, Friday; Casey Marion Ingle, of Cumberland, Sunday; and Nat Cooke, of Cartersville, Wednesday.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization, will be hosting its regular monthly meeting Monday, June 3 at 5 p.m. located at Browns United Methodist, located on Gravel Hill Road. All members are asked to bring a covered dish for the meal. The June program will follow. The 39th Annual Hudgins Family Reunion was held Sunday at the home of James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland. A large crowd attended and enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship.

Loaves of Love food pantry is operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church 2294 Cartersville. This food pantry is designed for Cumberland County residents, which include those who live in Cartersville. The next food distribution will be held Wednesday, June 7 from 3-4:30 p.m. This will be our final distribution as our food bank is closing. Thank you to all our existing clients for your support while we were here.

Victory Baptist Church, located at 157 Dove Lane, Spout Springs, will host special services on Sunday. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. with morning worship at 10:30 a.m. with Southern gospel music at its best by Truly Blessed from Florida.
