Each month during the regularly scheduled meeting, the Cumberland School Board recognizes the Students of the Month for each school. The following students were recognized by School Board members at the February meeting: 

Riley Spillman, pre-kindergarten student at Cumberland Elementary School, daughter of Hunter and Elizabeth of Farmville. Lane Cottrell, sixth grader at Cumberland Middle School, son of Timothy and Erin Cottrell of Farmville. Kamrien Brown, tenth grader at Cumberland High School, son of Whitney Brown of Cumberland.
