Appomattox Court House now closed to visitors

The Appomattox Court House National Historical Park has announced it is now closed to visitors until further notice. The closure is to comply with Virginia’s stay-at-home order as a result of the COVID-19 virus.

Park officials said they would notify the public when the park plans to resume operations. For further updates, visit the website www.nps.gov/apco and the park’s social media channels.

Park officials said the health and safety of their visitors, employees, volunteers and partners was their top priority.

The NPS encourages people to take advantage of the many digital tools already available to explore Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, including:
