RICHMOND, Jan. 12 – Katherine T. Rainey, 62, of Richmond passed away Friday evening, January 8, 2010 in Richmond. She was born August 12, 1947 in Washington DC, the daughter of the late Issac Wallace and Anne Trent Rainey. She formerly worked as a real estate agent.

She is survived by her daughters, Cary Brooks and husband, Jeff of Glen Allen, Anne Frye of Amelia, and Katherine Frye of Waynesboro; son, Ernest Frye of Richmond; grandchildren, Kris and Jonathan Brooks and Tyler Frye; siblings, Fred Rainey of Green Bay, Morris Rainey, Steve Rainey and Page R. Morrow, all of Buckingham, and Anne R. Dohn of Mexico.

A memorial service was held Monday at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
