Community prayer breakfast

The Moton Museum and event sponsor Centra Southside Community Hospital recently hosted their monthly community prayer breakfast. Prayer leaders include, from left, Cainan Townsend, director of education and public programs, Moton Museum; Leah Brown, assistant director of education, Moton Museum; Dr. Kitty Smith, Pastor, Oak Grove Baptist Church; Dr. Larissa Smith, Provost, Longwood University; Pattie Cooper Jones, Prince Edward County Board of Supervisors; and Dr. Odessa Pride, Centra Southside Community Hospital board member. The Moton Community Prayer Breakfast is held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public. The next Prayer Breakfast will be Feb. 4.
