Campus sexual assault reported

The Hampden-Sydney Department of Public Safety and Police is in the process of investigating a stranger-involved sexual assault that occurred on the Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) campus on Saturday, March 23, according to a release from the department and Longwood University Associate Vice President of Communications Matthew McWilliams.

Attached with the release was an image of an individual. The Hampden-Sydney department produced a flyer seeking the identity of the person shown in the photo and have circulated it on campus.

Anyone with information about the incident or suspect is urged to contact the Longwood University Police Department at (434) 395- 2091 or the Hampden-Sydney Police Department at (434) 223-6164.
