Florence Scruggs Robinette age 73 of Prospect, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Born on June 21, 1945, Florence was the daughter of the late Floyd and Daisy Scruggs. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Robinette. She is survived by her 4 children; Faye Arnold (Gus), Steve Scott (Shelby), Andy Scott (Bonnie) and Barbara Good. Florence is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Brandy Anderson (DJ), Dusty Allen (Ellen), Tiffanie Terry (William), Colton Scott (Hannah), Cody Scott, Eric Whorley (Cherie), Chris Whorley (Laura), Destinee Good, 3 step grandchildren; Renee Marshall (Jamey), Justin Arnold (Emalee), Eddie Arnold (Candrea) and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters; Annie Sears (Wayne), Mary Coleman (Mike), 2 brothers; Floyd Junior “Buck” Scruggs (Patsy), Roger Scruggs (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Special mention Pastor Jo and Jean Johnson, Lovelene Cardwell, Audrey Bowles, Kevin and Mandy Scott.

Florence worked at Amelia Dress Factory in Farmville, VA for many years and retired as night manager at Tom’s Country Store at Dowdy’s Corner, VA. She loved her Lord, her church and spending time with family and friends.

A graveside service was held at the PCC-Farmville Campus, 382 Fairgrounds Road, Farmville, at 11 a.m. on October 30, 2018.
