DILLWYN, April 3 — William “Billy” Foster Davis, 80, of Dillwyn, died on Friday, March 28, 2014. He was born in Buckingham County on September 29, 1933, the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Davis Jr. and Louise Mitchell Davis.</p>

He was the former owner of Chesterfield Graphics Print Shop and currently resides at his home on Rosney Road in Dillwyn. Mr. Davis was a member of numerous civic organizations and was an avid Virginia Tech fan.

He is survived by an aunt, Iris Davis Savage of CA; an uncle, Ivan P. Davis Sr. of Dillwyn; two nephews; numerous cousins and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. in the Davis Family Cemetery, on Whetstone Farm, 106 Whetstone Lane, Dillwyn.

Memorial contributions may be made to White Hall UMC, Ellis Acres or the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
