JUNE 1 Virginia Marion Mallory died Tuesday, May 18, 2004.

She was born August 19, 1929 in Fluvanna.

She is survived by one son, Wayne Sloan and wife. Dot and their daughter, Brittney of Chester; one brother, Benjamin Marion of New Canton; one sister, Helen Hughes of Chesterfield, “Teenie” as known by her family; one devoted niece, Ann Adams of Cumberland and many, many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mallory; father, Frank Marion; mother, Rebecca Childress Marion; sister, Minnie Baldwin; brother, Clarence Marion and twin brother, John Marion and beloved grandmother, Minnie Davis Marion.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5 at 2 p.m. in Powhatan Community Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.
