The Prince Edward Eagles boys and girls swim team held a meet on Friday, January 10 at the Farmville YMCA and were victorious against the Fuqua Falcons. The PECHS boys team defeated Fuqua, 51-32, while the PECHS girls team won 48-5. Double first place winners for the Eagles were: West Bogese – 500 Free and 100 Breaststroke, Liam Burke – 50 Free and 100 Back, Samuel Bidwell – 200 Free and 100 Butterfly, Courtney Bailey – 100 Free and 100 Back, Samantha Gubash – 100 Butterfly and 200 Free, and Sophia Kocevar – 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke. West Bogese also qualified for the state competition in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke categories.
