Students present on watershed camp

Emma Staten, left, and Austin Sandridge, right, gave presentations based on their experience traveling to a Watershed Exploration Camp headed by the Peter Francisco Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Staten and Sandridge, during the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors meeting, described their time at the three-day camp, where they collected and tested water samples from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and got to visit a wildlife refuge at the James River Association Ecology School Presquile National Wildlife Refuge. We commend these two students for describing their experiences and the Buckingham Extension Office for making these adventures more available to students.
