PRINCE EDWARD — The boat ramp at Sandy River Reservoir has reopened after the conclusion of a ramp pier replacement project that required the ramp to be closed for more than a month. According to Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries Region Two Lands and Facilities Manager Pete Schula, the previous ramp was built in the first half of the 1990s.

Schula previously said the project would cost between approximately $35,000-40,000.
