The Woman’s Club of Cumberland, GFWC will sell Brunswick stew and a variety of homemade desserts on Tuesday at Payne Memorial Methodist Church. The stew will be ready for purchase at noon. This is just one of several fundraisers that the Woman’s Club hosts annually. The organization works diligently to raise awareness and funds for nonprofits in and around the area such as Cumberland County Public Library, Cumberland County Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department, Cumberland County Public School, Patrick Henry Family Services and Operation Smile.
