Betty Fay Sutton, 85 of Cartersville, was born on September 22, 1931 and went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sutton.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Boggs (Mike) of Cartersville, Sherrie Payne (Aubrey) of Richmond, and Donna Sutton of Richmond; five grandchildren, Michael Boggs (Rena), Ryan Boggs (Bethanne), Caine Jones, Lacy Huddleston (Warren) and Gran Tatum; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. 

Many thanks to the Laurels of Willow Creek Nursing Home for taking such good care of her for the past 2 1/2 years. Betty was a devoted wife to her husband for more than 50 years, a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her passion was her flowers, especially her many azaleas. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 10 at Cartersville Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
