Peggy Couch Brisentine, 76 of Prospect, formally of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was born on August 2, 1940 to the late Reva Phillips and Richard Wallace Couch Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Sr., son Robert Jr., brother Richard and son-in-law Brent Fulk.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Sisson (Winton), Cindy Fulk; granddaughter, Crystal Tappen; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Brenda Brisentine; and sister-in-law, Barbara Couch and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect Methodist Church in her memory.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Prospect United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home.
