The 2017 Jayson Gee Basketball Camp handed boys and girls ages 5-16 an opportunity last week to play and learn on the same stage as the NCAA Division I Longwood University Lancers, while receiving instruction from them as well.
During the week in Longwood’s Willett Hall, campers went through stations that drilled them on different basketball skills. Corresponding to their appropriate age groups, campers were also divided into teams, each of which had a dedicated coach for the four-day camp.
Teams competed for championships in their age divisions Thursday afternoon.
