Grace G. Handy, of Farmville, passed from this life into Glory on June 9, 2017. She was born March 29, 1928 to William and Lesie Glasgow.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Curtis Handy, five brothers, Henry, James, John, Aubrey and Frank Glasgow; four sisters, Ora Hodges, Mattie Crawley, Nellie Hodges, and Lesie Mae Rickman. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including special niece, Martha Bobb.

Gracie loved her flowers, birds, any stray cat, and Kit Kats! She loved her family and friends, and will be missed greatly.

A service was held at Shorter Funeral Home Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
