Mary Ann Davidson Morris, 86, of Burkeville, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2017 surrounded by family.

Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Thomas Davidson and her mother, Hallie Myrtle Glover Davidson.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Willie Morris Jr.; sons, William “Buck” Morris (Donna), James “Jimmy” Morris (Barbara) and Robert “Chicken” Morris (Connie); four grandchildren, Richard “Skeeter” Morris, Josh (Farah-Dale) Morris, Kristen Morris and Sara Morris.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8 from 5-8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home, 115 Covington Ct. Farmville, Virginia 23901. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 9 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Burkeville.
