Four students were recognized during the Cumberland County School Board’s May 8 meeting. Honored for their academic achievements were, pictured, from left, John Jefferies, Kaylah Paras, Juniper Ludgate and Roger Jamerson. Paras was presented as the valedictorian of the Class of 2017. Jefferies was presented as the class salutatorian. Ludgate, a fifth-grade student, was the Student of the Month for Cumberland County Middle School and Jamerson was presented at the Student of the Month for Cumberland County Elementary School.
