On Friday at 7 p.m. at Prince Edward County High School, Ira Miller, an alumnus from Prince Edward County Public Schools and Longwood University, and his company, Hand-in-Hand Support Services LLC, are sponsoring a cancer awareness concert.

“Grammy nominated, two-time Dove Award winner and 13-time stellar award winner Anthony Brown and Group Therapy will be full concert,” according to a press release. “Also on the ticket is Jacinta Wiley, who currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but (is) originally from Farmville.”

According to the release, Wiley just released her debut single. “A portion of the proceeds will be given to four students at Prince Edward County who recently lost their mother to leukemia.”
