Westbound lanes in the 100 block of East Third Street in downtown Farmville will be closed Monday, March 6 due to installation of a water tap.

According to a town press release, the work will begin around 7:30 a.m. by the former First Virginia Bank building.

“Eastbound lanes will remain open as westbound lanes will be detoured around the construction. Construction will last most of the day,” officials said in the release.
