Grateful for the chamber’s good work

The Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce does much more than recruit businesses to its ranks and meet monthly to talk about issues facing the area’s business community. Through its outreach efforts, events, initiatives and partnerships with other organizations and businesses, Farmville’s chamber works hard to better the lives of those who live here, no matter if they own a business or just the clothes on their back. Case in point: The Holiday Home Tour held last year, which netted $1,200 to the Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity — an organization that offers a hand up to residents in Farmville, Prince Edward, Buckingham and Charlotte. The donation will go toward building safe and secure homes for those who need them most in our neighborhoods. We are grateful for the chamber’s great work.
