Navona Hart and Real Living Cornerstone is partnering with Piedmont Senior Resources to help 300 seniors for Christmas. The two groups are taking donations of items and money through Friday. Donations being accepted include cleaning, kitchen and laundry supplies; health and beauty aids; canned foods and other non-perishable food items. The effort is part of Subaru’s and the national Meals on Wheels program’s “Share the Love” event. Drop-offs can be left at Piedmont Senior Resources (1811 W. Third St., Farmville; 5339 E. Colonial Trail Hwy., Burkeville) or Real Living Cornerstone (288 N. Main St., Farmville). Helping out during a recent drop-off are, from left, Claire Furber, Amy Baldwin, Justine Young, Jamie Anderson, Lisa Wallace, Melvin Hodges, Hannah Boswell, Cindy Cave, Tammy Miller and Navona Hart. We’re sure lots of seniors will be very happy to get these gifts from such dedicated people! (Send “Way to Go” photos with names and a description to waytogo@farmvilleherald.com.)
