Malcolm A. Booker Jr., left, Buckingham County’s clerk of the circuit court, was the guest speaker during the October meeting of the Buckingham County Chamber of Commerce. Booker described the many duties of his office and business history of Buckingham, specifically in the Bent Creek community, offering details from the journal of a general store there.
