They visited the state capital in Frankfort, traveled down River Road and took a riverboat on the Kentucky River passing under the railroad High Bridge. At Mt. Pleasant, they toured the Shaker Village that existed from 1805-1910. In Williamstown, they went to the “Ark Encounter” which is built to the scale of Noah’s Ark. The Golden Belles, senior women in the community, continue to enjoy a monthly luncheon at various Farmville restaurants.

Every third Wednesday, area seniors are welcomed at the Randolph Community Center fire department for a covered dish lunch, bingo and fellowship.
