The Heart of Virginia Farmer’s Market will host the Pet Chicken’s of Virginia Small Animal Swap, a Central Virginia Solar Co-op information booth and a children’s craft table and scavenger hunt on Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon in the STEPS parking lot. Due to the wet weather and a delayed crop, the tomato celebration and tasting has been postponed. Local farmers will have wide variety of delicious seasonal vegetables and fruits available.
