Enjoy the cooler temperatures in the evening with an after-dinner walk through history in Farmville along High Bridge Trail. On Wednesday at 7 p.m. join Bob Flippen, park education specialist, for a guided walk along the Trail toward Buffalo Creek. Learn about bygone enterprises such as the South Side Rail Road, Farmville Dispensary, Farmville and Powhatan Railroad, Stanley Park and the Confederate Hospital. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Total distance is about a mile and a half, bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
