Central Virginia Arts will celebrate the work of its members at a reception on Friday, 6-8 p.m. at the Riverside Café, 522 N. Main St., Farmville. The community is invited to meet the artists while viewing the show and enjoying refreshments. Exhibiting members include Shirley Blackwell, Ursula Burgess, Marianne Dennison, Karla Ellington, Debbie Elliott, Susan Harwood, Anthony Hurt, JoAnn Jones, Nancy Lockwood, Debbie McClintock, Richard McClintock, Donna McRae-Jones, Ernestine Monroe, Leah Olivier, Venus Powers, Julie Shield, Margaret Stombock, Donna Taylor, Pat Thorne, Maggie Whorley and Janet Williams.
