James Michael Esposito Jr., 52, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2016.

He is survived by his fiancé; Sharon Everette; mother, Diane M. Nelson; stepfather, Mike Nelson; brother Michael A. Esposito, of California, and his beloved dog “Scoobee.”

Jim was an independent self-made man that had an answer for everything. He always had a story to tell and advice to give. Jim was a good neighbor and friend, always willing to give a helping hand. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who had been blessed to know him. The family will receive friends at Bliley’s — Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, on Thursday, April 7 from 6-8 p.m.
