The Prince Edward County School Board recognized former Farmville Herald reporter Rob Chapman, left, with the VSBA (Virginia School Boards Association) Media Honor Roll award. Chapman was honored for his balanced and accurate approach to sharing with the community both the challenges facing our schools and the successes achieved by the students and teachers of Prince Edward County Public Schools. His work throughout the years aided in focusing on the goal of providing the best for PECPS students. Dr. K. David Smith, PECPS superintendent, presented the award.
